Leadership Team Promotion
It is with great pleasure that I would like to share the news of some recent promotions within GKR Karate’s senior management team.
Please join me in congratulating Kyoshi Gavin Samin who has been promoted from Vice President to President of GKR Karate, and Renshi Jason Knight and Renshi Bob McCracken who have both been promoted to Vice President positions.
Gavin has held the role of Vice President of GKR for 21 years and has been instrumental in the club’s growth and development throughout Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Through his leadership, GKR has grown tremendously and therefore, it was a natural progression to elevate him to President of GKR Karate – a role and title he is very well deserving of.
With Gavin’s position evolving over the years and with the appointment of Jason and Bob into Vice President roles, Gavin will be able to continue his leadership with the additional support of Jason and Bob and the exceptional skills they bring to their role.
For Jason and Bob, their new appointments are recognition of their hard work, high skill level and dedication to GKR Karate.
It is very exciting to be announcing these promotions within GKR and I wish Gavin, Jason and Bob, all the best with their new roles.
