Having trained in the martial arts for over 21 years, Sensei Neil has a wealth of knowledge and is an integral part of GKR Karate’s leadership.

As a Regional Manager, Sensei Neil is responsible for overseeing the karate tuition for all GKR Karate students and instructors across Wellington.

This involves conducting monthly gradings and regular karate seminars for students, as well as ongoing specialised training for his large team of instructors.

Sensei Neil is the Tournament Director for junior and adult tournaments which operate in his region, he also oversees the qualification process and ongoing training of all tournament Officials, Judges and Referees.

As a Level 4 IGKF Accredited Judge and Referee, Sensei Neil travels throughout New Zealand and internationally to attend National and World Championship tournaments as competitor, coach and referee.
