Having trained in the martial arts for over 29 years, Sensei Ali has a wealth of knowledge and is an integral part of GKR Karate’s leadership team.

As a Regional Manager, Sensei Ali is responsible for overseeing the karate tuition for all GKR Karate students and instructors in the South London and North Surrey areas.

This involves conducting monthly gradings and regular karate seminars for students, as well as ongoing specialised training for his large team of instructors.

Sensei Ali is the Tournament Director for junior and adult tournaments which operate in his region and oversees the qualification process and ongoing training of all tournament Officials, Judges and Referees.

As a Level 4 IGKF Accredited Judge and Referee, Sensei Ali travels throughout the United Kingdom and internationally to attend National and World Championship tournaments as both a competitor, coach and referee.
