Having trained in the martial arts for over 27 years, Sensei Dee has a wealth of knowledge and is an integral part of GKR Karate’s leadership team.
As a Regional Manager, Sensei Dee is responsible for overseeing the karate tuition for all GKR students and instructors across Wollongong and the Southern Highlands in NSW.
This involves conducting monthly gradings and regular karate seminars for students, as well as ongoing specialised training for over her large team of instructors.
Sensei Dee is the Tournament Director for Junior and Adult tournaments which operate in her region and oversees the qualification process and ongoing training of all tournament Officials, Judges and Referees.
As a Level 5 IGKF Accredited Judge and Referee, Sensei Dee travels both interstate and internationally to attend National and World Championship tournaments as a competitor, coach and referee.
Additionally, Sensei Dee is a National Squad Coach and is responsible for overseeing the development of the Wollongong Team. In this role, she has trained many students who have won both National and World Titles.

- IGKF Certified Regional Manager
- IGKF Certified Senior Instructor
- Accredited First-Aid Trainer
- Accredited Trainer of IGKF Instructors
- Level 5 Accredited IGKF Tournament Judge and Referee
