Having trained in the martial arts for over 18 years, Sensei Cassius has a wealth of knowledge and is an integral part of GKR Karate’s leadership team.

As an Assistant Regional Manager, Sensei Cassius is responsible for overseeing the karate tuition all GKR Karate students and instructors across the Hamilton and Cambridge areas in New Zealand.

This involves conducting monthly gradings and regular karate seminars for students, as well as ongoing specialised training for his large team of instructors.

Sensei Cassius is the Tournament Director for junior and adult tournaments which operate in his region, he also oversees the qualification process and ongoing training of all tournament Officials, Judges and Referees.

As a Level 3 IGKF Accredited Judge and Referee, Sensei Cassius travels throughout New Zealand and internationally to attend National and World Championship tournaments as a competitor, coach and referee.
