Having trained in the martial arts for over 10 years, Sensei Karen has a wealth of knowledge and is an integral part of GKR Karate’s leadership team.
As a joint Regional Manager with Sensei Mark Lancaster, Sensei Karen works closely with Senior Instructor Sensei Dee Lancaster and together they oversee the karate tuition for all GKR Karate students and instructors in the Illawarra, Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands.
This involves conducting monthly gradings and regular karate seminars for students, as well as ongoing specialised training for over her large team of instructors.
As a Level 3 IGKF Accredited Judge and Referee, Sensei Karen travels both interstate and internationally to attend National tournaments as a competitor, coach and referee.

- IGKF Certified Regional Manager
- IGKF Certified Senior Instructor
- Accredited First-Aid Trainer
- Accredited Trainer of IGKF Instructors
- Level 5 Accredited IGKF Tournament Judge and Referee
