2025 United Kingdom National Championships Results

On Saturday 29th November, students from up and down country came together at Ponds Forge in Sheffield for the GKR Karate UK National Championships. It was a brilliant day from start to finish!

We kicked things off with the Junior Team events and individual competitions for our youngest Karate-Ka. They showed amazing skill and confidence, setting the bar high for the rest of the day. The male and female senior black belt open divisions were packed with action, and we crowned brand new National Champions. The standard of competition keeps getting better every year, and these bouts of kata and kumite had everyone watching closely.

What really stood out was the spirit of GKR. The support, encouragement, and energy from competitors and spectators made the atmosphere electric. By the time the senior team events came around, the room was still buzzing, proving just how strong the support for is for each other!

A huge thank you goes to our officials and admin teams, who worked hard to keep everything running smoothly and finish on time! And of course, thanks to all the parents, families, and supporters who cheered on our competitors throughout the day.
