“Hi I’m Dan! I’m part of the Newcastle Upon Tyne Region 11 recruitment team and instructor at our Birtley venue! Originally starting my karate journey at 7 as a very shy little lad to help gain confidence and stand up to bullies- I am very passionate about helping motivate both kids and adults, shy or excited, experienced or beginner to be their very best, in a safe, fun, welcoming environment. The most rewarding moments for me is truly seeing improvements in self-esteem, focus, balance, fitness and mental strength!
Returning to GKR Karate at age 19 I’ve now been training for 8+ years. I’d love to help give people the opportunities and benefits I received through Karate.
