Alex is the Zone Director and Senior Instructor of Sydney, Region 19. He oversees the training and administration of over 40 classes, 20 branch instructors and hundreds of students who train each and every week

In 2010 Alex was appointed the role of Zone Director and now oversees the ongoing training and support of Senior Instructors/Regional Managers, Branch Instructors and students throughout the New South Wales area.

Alex has been a member of GKR since 1993 and is currently a 6th Dan Black Belt. He began his training in Western Sydney and had a successful competitive career including winning numerous national kumite titles in the National All-Styles tournament circuit. In 2000, Alex won the W.A.S.O (World All-Styles Organisation) World Open Kumite Title. A year later he won his second world title, winning the World Open Kata Title at GKR’s 2001 World Cup.
